Fees & Funding
This site provides information for prospective graduate students, including details about how much it will cost to study at Oxford and advice about how to look for funding to help finance your study.
Tuition fees do not include college fees, accommodation, or other course and maintenance fees. Use the filters to choose your entry year to the programme and to compare fees within a Division or within a department or faculty. The rates listed are for one academic year. You should expect to pay tuition fees for every year you are in attendance and be aware these fees will increase annually. A Fees Calculator is also available to help new entrants determine the amount they are liable to pay for the first year of their course.
Funding
Competition for scholarships and grants to study in the UK is extremely strong and there are usually strict requirements. You should check carefully that you are eligible to apply for a particular scholarship before making an application, as most of the schemes are restricted to certain nationalities and/or courses. We advise you to start looking for funding as soon as you have decided to apply to Oxford, if not before.
If you are an international student, you should also contact the Ministry of Education or Education Department in your own country for information on national aid schemes, as well as your nearest British Council Officefor advice on opportunities and funding for studying abroad.
China Scholarship Council (C.S.C) - University of Oxford Scholarships
All applicants from China should be strongly encouraged to apply for these scholarships. This includes candidates applying for Departmental and/or Divisional Funding Competitions. In previous years these funds have not been fully used because of a lack of applicants.
There are two stages to the application process:
1. Apply to Oxford by Friday 4th January 2013 and select Chinese Ministry of Education - University of Oxford Scholarships in the Funding Section of the University's Graduate Application Form.
2. Apply separately to the China Scholarship Council (C.S.C). Application processes with the C.S.C are currently being finalised.

How to search for Oxford Scholarships?
The Oxford Funding Search will help to determine which scholarships you may be eligible for and after searching, a summary of awards will then appear. From there you will be able to link to further information about that scheme including details on how to apply, deadlines and other information. Please read the information carefully to ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements before applying for the funding.
