Gaia Scerif has been awarded a grant from the Newlife Foundation, entitled "Beyond Genetic Diagnosis to Cognitive Mechanisms and Behavioural Outcomes in Intellectual Disability." The proposal is in collaboration with colleagues in Cambridge (Duncan Astle, the project's PI, Kate Baker and Lucy Raymond). This grant foster development of portable assessment measures for children with well characterised genotypes, and study their cognitive phenotype in detail, hopefully leading to larger applications in the future. The total value of the grant is for £117K.
