Emily Long

BA, MSc

DPhil Candidate

Exploring individual differences in trait perception and theory of mind.

Research Summary

My research focuses on how we infer others' mental states, such as beliefs and intentions. I study the way in which these inferences are affected by how we perceive the target person's traits, such as their personality or cognitive ability.

My DPhil is funded by an Grand Union DTP studentship from the Economic and Social Research Council.
