Research Assistant

I am currently working on the Co-CAT (Child Anxiety Treatment in the context of COVID-19) project in the TOPIC group. The project aims to establish whether an online parent intervention with therapist support (OSI) works as well as what teams offering mental health support are otherwise providing to help children (5-12 years old) with anxiety problems, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

I have previously worked on the iCATS project to improve identification of children with anxiety problems who may benefit from support through primary schools.

My research interests in general focus on common mental health difficulties young people experience and improving access to, and effectiveness of, psychological treatments. I have a specific interest in examining the relationship between sleep disturbances, anxiety and depression in young people.
