The department offers its congratulations to Professor Dorothy Bishop who has been appointed a Fellow of the Royal Society in recognition of her work on developmental disorders affecting language and communication.  The Royal Society is a self-governing Fellowship of many of the world’s most distinguished scientists drawn from all areas of science, engineering, and medicine, and this appointment is a great honour for the department.
