Most children can’t read before they go to school.  Fast forward just a few years and many are working their way through Harry Potter. How does this learning happen? This question is at the core of Kate Nation’s research.  Her research group has recently launched a new website, www.ReadOxford.org. Its aim is to develop connections between the science of reading and what happens in classrooms. With material developed for teachers, parents and kids, there’s something for everyone who is interested in reading and its development.  Follow ReadOxford on twitter @ReadOxford.
