Francois Cinotti

Postdoctoral Research Associate

I am a computational neuroscientist working with Mark Walton, Thomas Akam and Laura Grima on a model of mouse foraging behaviour to try and explain dopamine activity recorded during such a task.

Before joining this lab, I completed my PhD on regulation of the exploration-exploitation trade-off by dopamine at the Institute of Intelligent Systems and Robotics in Paris in 2019, and did a first postdoc with Mark Humphries at the university of Nottingham developing a Bayesian method for measuring the uncertainty of connection rates between neurons.
