Supporting Health and Social Care Workers through Evidence-based Interventions

About my Research

I am working with Professor Jennifer Wild, Professor Cathy Creswell and Professor Anke Ehlers to evaluate and disseminate a newly designed, evidence-based, mental health intervention that supports UK healthcare workers in managing symptoms of depression and posttraumatic stress disorder. I am also interested in learning about the ways current and future mental health interventions and services can become more culturally sensitive and acceptable.

My main research interests are:

  • Posttraumatic Stress Disorder
  • Major Depressive Disorder
  • Treatment development and evaluation
  • Improving the accessibility and acceptability of current and future mental health interventions for healthcare workers

I am part of The Oxford Psychological Interventions for Children and adolescents (TOPIC) Research Group and the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (OxCADAT).
