I am a trial manager with expertise in running trials of psychological interventions for children and young people, with a particular interest in embedding them within naturalistic settings to maximise the relevance of any findings.

Working in the TOPIC group, I aim to contribute to improving access to treatment for children and young people with anxiety, currently delivering a large multi-site randomised control trial (RCT) exploring the effectiveness of an online parent-led intervention for children with anxiety problems in response to the COVID19 pandemic.

Although some treatments have been established as effective, less is known about potential negative or adverse effects. My research interests (funded as a NIHR predoctoral research fellow) are in improving measurement and reporting of adverse events during trials of psychological interventions for children and young people in particular.
