Learning and decision making

We are seeking volunteers for our study on learning and decision-making. The study will involve pairs of participants completing a series of computer tasks and questionnaires in one 3.5 hour testing session at the Oxford Centre for Functional MRI of the Brain (FMRIB). Participants will be randomly allocated to either the behavioural or MRI testing session on the day. Participants must be comfortable with and willing to lie still in an MRI scanner whilst completing the computer tasks, if assigned to this condition.

To volunteer you must be:

  •  Between the ages of 18-35
  • Not pregnant
  • Fluent English-speaking
  • Have no history of neurological or neuropsychiatric disorders

You will be asked questions about your medical history to check your suitability for an MRI scan.

You will also be reimbursed for your time with a chance to earn additional bonuses.

If you are interested to participate and/or would like further information please contact Ayat Abdurahman at
