Amy Godfrey

Research Assistant

I am a research assistant on The ONE (Orchestrating Numeracy and the Executive) Programme, supervised by Professor Gaia Scerif, funded by the Nuffield Foundation.

Our team is working on developing and evaluating a combined maths and executive function (EF) intervention in preschools. This intervention aims to improve children's early maths skills through incorporating executive challenge into maths activities. We are also working closely with practitioners to design this intervention in a way which is accessible and easily implemented within preschools.

My research interests are centred around learning environments, and how classroom learning environments can affect maths and EF outcomes in the early years.
