MY-CATS – Minimising Young Children’s Anxiety Through Schools

I am a Research Assistant on the MY-CATS project within the TOPIC group. This project aims to evaluate the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of systematic screening for Primary aged children at risk for anxiety disorders, on the basis of one or more risks, and provision of an online, parent-led intervention to parents.

My previous research experience includes a placement within Cardiff University's Police Science Institute, (UPSI) where I assisted in their project evaluating the use of Facial Recognition Technology within South Wales Police.

Prior to my role in TOPIC, I qualified with a Postgraduate Diploma to become an Education Mental Health Practitioner at Northampton University in 2021, and completed my Undergraduate at Cardiff University in 2019. I have also worked in CAMHS and Adult Inpatient Services which specialised in the recovery of Eating Disorders.
