Research Administrator for TOPIC Research Group/PA to Professor Cathy Creswell
Kaja Winney joined TOPIC (The Oxford Psychological Interventions for Children and adolescents) Research Group as a Research Administrator in September 2019. She is responsible for overall administration and is the first point of contact for the group. She assists with preparation of grant applications, financial management, manages the group's publication databases, organises external meetings and events, and maintains the group's website and social media sites. She is also a PA for Professor Cathy Creswell.
Kaja is currently in her 4th year of training as an integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist at Terapia Centre in London and works clinically in a school and mental health charity settings. She graduated with an MSc in Comparative and International Education from Oxford University (2007) and a BA in British Literature and Literary Theory from University of Wroclaw (2005). She also holds a postgraduate certificate in Interpreting and Translation (2012).
Kaja has a keen interest in Psychology and International Education. She worked for a number of years as an English language teacher teaching in Hong Kong, Poland and England, and ran her own language school. Kaja is a seasoned traveller, who enjoys salsa dancing, yoga and meditation.
