Research Interests
I am DPhil student at the Decisions and Action Lab, led by Prof. Matthew Rushworth. I am interested in understanding how we make decisions, especially when it comes to social and moral decisions. I am also interested in uncovering the role of emotion--happiness, apathy, etc.--in influencing our decisions.
Questions that fall within this area include: does being moral bring you happiness? Does being happy make you moral? In clinical conditions like depression, how are your social decisions affected? I use mathematical models and tools of neuro-imaging to answer such questions.
I completed my BSc (Hons) with a major in Mathematics at Ashoka University. Later I did my MRes in Cognitive Neuroscience in University College London.
