As Deputy Administrator, I am responsible to the Head of Administration and Finance (HAF) for the day-to-day management of the finance and research administration teams.  My post combines strategic and operational duties and the key responsibilities and duties of the post include:

  • Budgeting, financial control and the provision of management information;
  • All the financial aspects of the department including purchasing, payments and expense claims;
  • Research grant applications and pre- and post- award grant management;

My background is in Finance and I am CIMA qualified.  I worked at the Research Councils for 15 years. before moving to the University in 2017. I worked at the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities Divisional Finance Team.
