What is the purpose of this study?

We know some children have problems learning language, but we do not know why. Studying the brain could give us clues about why some children have problems and some children don’t. For the BOLD project, we want to use MRI to take pictures of the brains of lots of children between the ages of 10-15 years. This will help us answer questions about how and why everyone has different levels of language ability.
