Research Project (Dissertation)
The Research Project (Dissertation) is a substantial and original piece of empirical research under the direct supervision of a member of the department's academic staff.
At the beginning of the academic year, students will be offered a list of potential Research Project Supervisors and topics. However, students can also approach individual academic members of staff to discuss potential ideas for their project.
As a part of this module, students will also produce posters based on their research which they will present at the MSc Poster Presentation Event in July.
Assessment is a 10,000 word dissertation.
