Postdoctoral Researcher

I am a postdoctoral researcher with the Attention, Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) group. I am currently working on the Attention to Maths project funded by the Leverhulme Trust.

The objective of this project is validate new methods that will inform us about how attention supports early maths learning. To do this we are integrating multiple methods including: behavioural response, eye-movement, heart rate and electroencephalography (EEG) data. In addition, a secondary goal of the project is develop our portable data collection techniques, so that we will be able to collect good data outside of the lab.

My previous research has focused on how eye gaze can influence attention and the subsequent impact on memory and decision making. I am also interested in the development of new techniques that makes collecting data more accessible, particularly for under-represented populations.
