Managing the qualitative aspects of the Child Anxiety Treatment in the context of COVID-19 (Co-CAT) trial.

Qualitative Research Fellow

As qualitative researcher for the Co-CAT trial I am interviewing clinicians and parents who have taken part in a major trial for the treatment of child anxiety.

Co-CAT (Child Anxiety Treatment in the context of COVID-19) is a randomised controlled trial on the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of a new online parent-led intervention for anxiety in children aged 5-12. The new intervention uses an innovative online+therapist treatment, that was created with input from parents and clinicians. This will be compared with treatment as usual through CAMHS in the context of COVID-19. The qualitative interviews will complement quantitative data from the trial.
