Executive Assistant to the Departmental Administrator & Communications Officer
My main role as Executive Assistant is to assist the Departmental Administrator in all aspects of departmental administration, particularly in relation to the closure of the Tinbergen Building.
As Communications Officer, I am responsible for developing the communication strategy and activities, encouraging and strengthening information-sharing, both internally and externally. This includes the development and management of departmental communication channels, inlcuding our SharePoint sites and Oxford Talks listings. I also assist with the production of the departmental newsletter. I am a member of the Medical Sciences Division Communications Network and Communications Working Group.
As Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Experimental Psychology website, I am responsible for ensuring that all content is current and relevant, including seminars, events, participation opportunities and profiles of all staff, DPhil students and visiting researchers. I am also responsible for developing the website in line with direction from Web & Communication Committees.
I am the Support Staff Representative on the Experimental Psychology Athena SWAN Committee, and provide secretarial support to the committee. I am also responsible for the administration of our Athena SWAN applications.
