Maxie Scheske

Research Assistant

I am a Research Assistant at the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, working with Professor Anke Ehlers and Professor David Clark. This research currently focuses on the role of cognitive processes in maintaining and treating social anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

The Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma aims to contribute to greater understandings of anxiety and PTSD, develop effective treatments for these disorders, and enhance public awareness of the importance of evidence-based psychological treatment.

I completed my BA in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford, before studying Psychology as an MSc (Conversion) at Oxford Brookes University. In my current role I am involved in the development and evaluation of internet-based treatments for social anxiety and PTSD.
