Anxiety & Trauma (Ehlers)
I'm interested in how psychological therapies for mental health problems work.
My PhD project aims to investigate processes of change and recovery in cognitive therapy for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I analyse changes in variables that are thought to drive clinical improvement according to cognitive theories of PTSD. This allows me to test the theoretical models underpinning cognitive therapies for PTSD.
I also create videos that are embedded in a newly developed internet program for treating PTSD.
