Research Assistant
I am a research assistant in the Emotions and Social Relations research group, working with Dr Danielle Shore and Professor Brian Parkinson. Our work explores how facial expressions affect social interactions and decision-making.
I am currently completing my doctoral research at Keele University, under the supervision of Dr Richard Stephens, Dr Sammyh Khan, and Dr Alex Lamont. This research investigates how and why speech can change our emotions after socially painful experiences.
Prior to this I was awarded my MSc in Language Sciences (specialism in Neuroscience and Communication) at University College London, and my BSc in Psychology with Japanese at the University of Central Lancashire.
