Research Assistant and Laboratory Manager in the Developmental Neuroscience Lab lead by PI Dr MaryAnn Noonan.

In my first professional role since completing my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Reading, I support Dr Noonan in studying the typical development of goal-directed behaviour, specifically cognitive flexibility, as measured with reversal learning tasks. We collect and analyse behavioural and neuroimaging (mostly MRI/fMRI) data from adolescents and adults to tackle questions about the developmental trajectories of strategies supporting learning and decision making, and how this might be interconnected with the development of supporting brain regions and their connectivity.
