COVID-19
We are carefully monitoring the rapidly-evolving situation to protect the health and safety of staff, students, research participants and all those we come into contact with. Your well-being is at the heart of our policies and procedures. For the latest advice, please check the University’s advice page (http://www.ox.ac.uk/news-and-events/coronavirus-advice), which is updated frequently to reflect guidance from the government and Public Health England. Because there is a lot of understandable anxiety, worry and uncertainty amongst our staff, students and the public, we've created a COVID-19 Mental Health page as well as putting together some COVID-19 Resources. We hope you find them useful.
Get Involved
Members of our department engage frequently with the public to showcase their research, inspire the younger generation and engage with the local community. Our researchers committed to sharing their work with a wide variety of different populations, across all age groups, interest groups and all sections of society. A core segment of our pubic engagement efforts involves reaching out to school pupils who are interested in studying psychology and neuroscience, with talks, workshops, outreach events and the UNIQ Spring and Summer schools.

The Oxford Cognitive Screen
We recently developed a new stroke specific short cognitive screening tool. The OCS (Oxford Cognitive Screen) can be delivered at the bedside, is easy to administer and score and is inclusive for patients with aphasia and neglect. It returns a visual snapshot of a patient's cognitive profile which summarizes performance on 5 cognitive domains. Please see www.ocs-test.org for more info.
