Systems neuroscience of learning and flexible behaviour

I am a member of the Brain and Behaviour research group, where I investigate the neural mechanisms underpinning learning and decision-making at the network level.

More specifically, I am interested in how different brain regions interact with each other to 1) extract information about the environment and build predictions about choices, actions, and their outcomes, and 2) dynamically use and update these predictions for flexible and adaptable behaviour.

To answer this question, I use a variety of methods, including neuronal electrophysiology, brain stimulation, work with neuropsychological patients, and computational modelling.
