Postdoctoral Researcher
I'm a postdoctoral researcher in the Motivation, Decision and Neurostimulation (MoDeS) Lab, led by Miriam Klein-Flugge. Our work investigates the neural circuits that underpin human motivation and decision-making, combining non-invasive ultrasound brain stimulation with neuroimaging and behavioural analyses. My research focuses on how stimulating specific brain regions causally shapes motivation and decision confidence, and how these effects may shed light on the mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders.
I completed my DPhil in Experimental Psychology at Oxford in 2023, supervised by Nick Yeung and Dan Bang, where I examined the role of confidence in adaptive decision-making. Prior to this, I studied for an MSc in Cognitive and Decision Sciences at UCL, an MPhil in Management at the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in Psychology at the University of Mannheim.
