Lillian (Yuxing) Yang

Research Assistant

I am currently a Research Assistant in the Mind Mechanisms Lab, working under the supervision of Dr Mohamady El-Gaby, Professor Tim Behrens, and Professor Mark Walton. My research focuses on using rodent models to study higher-order cognition, with a particular interest in adaptive behaviour and its representations at the cellular level in the brain.

I completed my MSc in Psychological Research at the University of Oxford and previously obtained a BA from McGill University, where I majored in both Psychology and Computer Science. Following my MSc, I joined the lab to support ongoing investigations into the neural basis of complex structure learning.
