MRC Doctoral Training Grant 2015
The department is allocated a certain amount of funding from the Medical Science Division which we are allowed to distribute to make up either a full funded or a partially funded graduate place or places. Fully funded awards will made-up of either additional departmental, college or divisional funding. To be be considered for this funding, you need to apply by Friday 9th January 2015. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The Departmental (MRC DTG) Award will cover fees, provide a stipend plus funding for training and traveling to conferences for the next 3 years (if eligible - see below).
Research Councils Criteria eligibility for studentships:
- Candidates from the UK are eligible for full funding.
- Candidates from other EU Counties- may be eligible for partial funding or full funding if they have been studying in the UK for three or more years.
- Candidates from Non-EU counties and Overseas are not eligible.
We will notify you that you have been considered for this form of funding in your initial offer letter. Formal notification of the award, if successful, will come from either the department or the Medical Science Division before the end of March 2015.
