Research Assistant and Lab Manager
I am involved in the organisation and implementation of daily lab operations in the Staresina Sleep and Memory Lab. I am especially interested in how sleep-specific oscillatory activity supports the consolidation of newly encoded memories. The work I contribute to employs EEG and other neuroimaging techniques to advance our understanding of these dynamic processes in the sleeping brain and how we might modulate them to enhance cognitive function.
My previous research experience, gained during an Integrated Master's in Neuroscience at Oxford, involved using non-invasive brain stimulation and neuroimaging methods (TMS, MRI and MRS) to assess the role of acetylcholine in attentional networks.
