A vacancy exists for an individual to take up a funded place on the DPhil in Experimental Psychology in the general field of social cognitive neuroscience starting on Monday 27th April 2015 (Trinity Term 2015) whilst working part-time as an Research Assistant for Professor Glyn Humphreys.

The Research Assistant Position

The post will involve working in local rehabilitation hospitals, screening patients for cognitive and social problems, and it can extend to evaluating the therapeutic effects of direct brain stimulation. Applicants should be enthusiastic, well-motivated, have their own transport and be able to work independently and part of a collaborative research team in both university and hospital environments. 

On being offered the above position, the successful applicant will also be offered a place on the DPhil in Experimental Psychology programme of study starting on Monday 27th April 2015 (Trinity Term 2015). The funding on offer will cover college and university fees and annual stipend for three years from the commence of the course.
