Trauma-Related Symptoms Among Adolescents in Gaza

My research explores experiences of trauma, loss, and grief and associated responses in the context of armed conflict, with particular focus on the Palestinian experience.

I am working under the supervision of Dr. Alex Lau Zhu and Professor Paul Salkovskis. Together, we aim to explore the processes and consequences of such experiences, with the ultimate goal of delivering a targeted intervention for therapeutic benefit. I will employ a mixed-methods approach, incorporating exploratory qualitative methods and longitudinal quantitative analyses.

My research is funded by an interdisciplinary ESRC/MRC studentship.
