Research Assistant

I currently work as a Research Assistant in Brain Health in Ageing in the Cognitive Neurology group and support NIHR Oxford Health BRC Dementia theme research with Prof Masud Husain and Prof Clare Mackay.

I received my BSc Neuroscience degree in 2021 from Aston University, Birmingham. My degree studies included a placement year at the University of Bath, where I used electrophysiological techniques to assess the effects of dopamine on VTA Kappa-opioid receptors.

Following University I worked as a Clinical Trials Assistant at the Royal United Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, supporting the set-up and day-to-day activities of pharmaceutical clinical trials. 

Prior to my current role, I worked as a Research Assistant in Translational Neuroimaging at OxCIN, Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciencessupporting the departments programme of clinical and translational research.
