Tyra Douglas

Assistant Psychologist with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust

I am an Assistant Psychologist at the Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (OxCADAT), where I work under the supervision of Professor Anke Ehlers. My work focuses on two clinical trials that compare internet-delivered cognitive therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) with treatment as usual. These trials are funded by the Invention for Innovation (i4i) grant, which aims to advance healthcare technologies for NHS use. The grant facilitates collaboration between the University of Oxford and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

I graduated with a BA in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford in 2024.

In addition to PTSD and SAD, I am also interested in how technology can be applied to diagnose, monitor, and treat Parkinson's disease, as well as its broader use in improving both mental and physical health.
