Research Clinical Psychologist
- Clinical Psychologist (TOPIC group): iCATSi2i, MY-CATS and Co-CAT studies
I am a Clinical Psychologist in the TOPIC research group working on two national primary school-based prevention trials for childhood anxiety disorders. I provide clinical supervision, support families receiving intervention, and manage safeguarding.
My research interests are in the development, maintenance and treatment of anxiety difficulties in children and young people. My doctoral thesis explored associations between infant behaviours, common mental health symptoms and autistic traits in the general population.
I previously worked in child health (paediatrics), supporting young people with physical health conditions. I completed my clinical psychology doctoral training at University College London (UCL). Prior, I was a Research Assistant at UCL's BPS Centre for Outcomes Research and Effectiveness (CORE). I spent my undergraduate placement year supporting young people and their families at the Anxiety and Depression in Young People (AnDY) Research Unit at the University of Reading.
