Ella Janes

Research Assistant

I support clinical research within the Oxford Cognitive Approaches to Psychosis (O-CAP) group with a focus on two key trials: the Phoenix trial, which investigates the potential of virtual reality therapy for young people with psychosis, and the RAPID trial, dedicated to assessing remote psychosocial interventions for severe mental health cases. My core responsibilities include participant recruitment, clinical assessments, and support for other research projects within the team.

I hold an MSc in Psychological Sciences (UCL) and a BA in French (University of Exeter). I have prior NHS experience as the Head of Patient and Parent Involvement for children's inpatient wards in Cambridge and as an Assistant Psychologist in child and adult community eating disorders teams.
