RESEARCH OVERVIEW
My DPhil research investigates the development of executive functions in preschool children. During my DPhil I designed and tested an intervention to improve the home learning environment by providing parents with actionable information on activities they can do with their children to promote executive functions and other early life skills.
BIOGRAPHY
I am a DPhil student in Professor Gaia Scerif’s ‘Attention, Brain and Cognitive Development’ lab. I am funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. I previously held positions at Nesta and the Behavioural Insights Team where I led a portfolio of work to reduce the early years attainment gap.
I hold and MSc in Behavioural Science from the University of Stirling, Scotland and a BA in Economics and French from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
