The Early Career Researchers (ECRs) are taking over the first departmental seminar of Trinity Term.   Moderated by Professor Matthew Rushworth, this series of 15-min fire talks will enable ECRs from different research areas to present their research and answer questions. This year’s talks include:

  • Dr Jiedi Lei, Clinical Research fellow with TOPIC group, “Autism and Anxiety - Rethinking Assessment and Formulation through Strengths-Based Perspective
  • Dr Daniel Schaefer, Postdoc with Prof Shelley McKeown Jones, "Beyond Intractability: Reducing Animosities and Creating a Procedural Framework for Nonviolent Conflict Management"
  • Dr Sophia Shatek, Postdoc in Attention, Brain & Cognitive Development group with Prof Gaia Scerif, “Attention and maths in the developing brain”
  • Dr Matan Mazor, All Souls College Junior Research Fellow, “Counterfactual self-simulation in perceiving absence and pretending not to know”

The seminar will be run as an in person event held at the Seminar Room in New Radcliffe House.
