MSc Psychological Research Student

Laura Lee

I am interested in understanding the psychological development of children and adolescents, particularly within the context of developmental psychopathology and clinical psychology.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Bath, during which I also spent a year studying developmental and animal psychology at Harvard University. Whilst at Harvard, I also worked as a Research Assistant in the Spelke Lab, where I contributed to research exploring the cognitive development of infants and 3-year-old children, focusing on visual perspective-taking and its role in early learning.

Most recently, I worked as a special educational needs support teacher, where I provided tailored support to children with autism, Down syndrome, and children in care. This experience deepened my commitment to understanding and improving mental health and educational outcomes for children with diverse needs.
