Departmental Seminar: Probabilistic models of sensorimotor control and decision making
Professor Daniel Wolpert (University of Cambridge)
Thursday, 21 May 2015, 12pm to 1pm
Lecture Theatre C, Experimental Psychology
Hosted by Professor Glyn Humphreys
The fields of decision making and sensorimotor control have developed in parallel although both require acting in real time on streams of noisy evidence. I will review our recent work covering both probabilistic models of decision making, action and the interactions between decision making and sensorimotor control processes.
