The Oxford Academic Health Sciences Network (Oxford AHSN), which covers Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & surrounding areas, has created a managed clinical-academic network for anxiety disorders and depression. Led by Professor David M Clark (Experimental Psychology, Oxford) and Professor Shirley Reynolds (Psychology, Reading) the network brings together all the region's adult and child Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services with the aims of: 1) monitoring and improving outcomes, and 2) speeding the translation of research findings and clinical innovation into routine provision. Funding is approximately £200,000 per annum.
