Congratulations to Miles Hewstone who, along with Wolfgang Stroebe has been awarded the Codol Medal of the European Association of Social Psychology. The medal recognizes outstanding service to the Association and is awarded to a member (or group) that has significantly advanced the cause of social psychology in Europe by means of their service to the field.  The Codol Medal has been awarded on this occasion for founding the journal “European Review of Social Psychology” and co-editing it for 25years.

Professor Hewstone heads the Oxford Centre for the Study of Intergroup Conflict, whose work aims to understand how conflict among social groups arises and how it can be resolved.
