Research Assistant

I currently work with the TOPIC group on a BRC-funded project to develop a research-ready schools network that can enable mental health research with children and young people.

Previously, I worked as a primary school teacher and gained experience in secondary and SEND school settings. I then led and developed an outreach service in a major-trauma hospital, providing holistic, person-centred support for young people with acute and chronic illness.

More recently, I was employed as a Mental Health Liaison and Assistant Psychologist, supporting autistic people and those with a learning disability. This work included exploring reasonable adjustments for care and developing personalised support plans.
