PhD Human Development
Postdoctoral Researcher
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Attention, Brain & Cognitive Development (ABCD) lab supervised by Dr. Gaia Scerif. I am currently working on the MathMIND Project.
The MathMIND Project seeks to understand what cognitive underpinnings and educational supports help the mathematical development of children with genetic conditions (Fragile X syndrome, Williams syndrome, and Down Syndrome). The project is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). More information about the project can be found here.
I completed my B.A. in Psychology and French and an M.S in Psychology at the University of Michigan. Prior to joining the ABCD Lab, I completed my PhD in Human Development at the University of California, Davis and was an Autism Research Training Program Postdoctoral Fellow at the UC Davis MIND Institute. My previous research has focused on understanding the development of mathematical learning in autistic children.
