Julia Dąbrowska

BSc (Hons.), MSc, MPhil

DPhil Candidate

I am an Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP student funded by the BBSRC, co-supervised by Professor Gaia Scerif (Experimental Psychology) and Professor Mark Woolrich (Psychiatry/OHBA).

My current research focuses on understanding brain network dynamics and mechanisms underlying attentional processes during learning, in particular cognitive control and executive function. Using electrophysiological (EEG) and behavioural experimental methods and applying novel machine learning models of network dynamics to the collected data, I aim to investigate the complex processes of novel learning in adults and relate this to task performance.

Prior to my DPhil, I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Medical Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London, and an MPhil in Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge.
