Katrijn Schruers
BSc MSc
Lab Manager / Research Assistant
I help oversee the daily operations of the Staresina Sleep and Memory lab. My research centers on understanding brain plasticity, specifically how learning and sleep drive changes in neural structures and networks. I am particularly interested in exploring how we might target and enhance these plasticity processes through innovative techniques, and I am passionate about utilizing neuroimaging to capture and quantify these changes. My goal is to contribute to a deeper understanding of memory, with an eye toward developing interventions that support cognitive health across the lifespan.
