Lottie Shipp
DPhil Candidate
My research focuses on anxiety disorders in young people. In particular, I’m interested in exploring the cognitive and behavioural mechanisms that contribute to the maintenance of Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) in adolescents.
My project is supervised by Professor Polly Waite and Dr Eleanor Leigh. We aim to use our knowledge of key maintenance mechanisms to develop a brief, theory-driven intervention for GAD in young people.
My research is funded by the Medical Research Council and the Oxford-Radcliffe Scholarship.
