Research Summary
Memory serves as one of the foundational aspects of human cognition, and sleep, which constitutes one-third of our lives, plays a crucial role in memory processing. My work explores the mechanisms of memory processing during sleep using EEG, iEEG, and fMRI. Specifically, my phd project would focus on how the sleep featured oscillations(i.e. slow waves, spindles and ripples) and memory reactivation during sleep influences our my memory transformation and our behavior.
I am a DPhil Student in Staresina Lab, supervised by Prof. Bernhard Staresina and Prof. Helen Barron. I completed my Bachelor and Master's degree in Beijing Normal University and is funded by the China Scholarship Council-University of Oxford Scholarship.
