The Project Design module provides practical instruction in research and presentation skills across two terms. In the first part of the module, students attend seminar presentations led by academic staff concerning methodological issues relating to their own area of research expertise and engage in interactive discussion with those staff members. In the second part of the module, each student presents a seminar on methodological aspects of their proposed research project and leads a group discussion on this material.

Assessment is based on a critical analysis of relevant literature and methods relating the student's own Research Project.
