The Clarivate Highly Cited list identifies and celebrates researchers who have demonstrated a "significant and broad influence" in science or medicine-related disciplines.

Professor Daniel Freeman, from the Department of Experimental Psychology, has made it onto the 2024 list.

The researchers selected have authored multiple highly cited papers which rank in the top one per cent in their fields over the past ten years, according to the Web of Science. The list is then refined by Clarivate using qualitative analysis and expert judgement for evidence of community-wide recognition.

In total there were 61 researchers from the University of Oxford on the list, including seven researchers from the Department of Psychiatry and six from the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neuroscience (NDCN):

And in the Department of Physiology Anatomy and Genetics, Molly Stevens was recognised.
